Where to begin? The month of January FLEW by. I've been trying to hit the gym pretty hard, and I even started playing racquetball with my neighbor and her nephew. They are really really good, I on the other hand am really really bad :) But it's a great workout so I think I will continue playing even if I am making an @ss out of myself.
Last weekend was probably one of the best in my life. My whole family was in SLC, even Shauna, Rhett and the girls. Rhett had an interview with IHC and they decided to fly the whole family in from North Carolina. In return my mom, Dean, Heather, Heidi and Kevin and their kids decided to come up from Salina and see them. It was soooooooo fun and so great to be able to hang out with ALL of my sisters at the same time. I miss them so much when they aren't here, it's just not the same without them.
So while they where here they decided to throw me a Surprise 30th birthday party :) Which was kind of funny because Cheri's birthday was the day before my party. Needless to say I was SURPRISED. Anybody who knows me, knows that I love to karaoke. So when we were all at dinner and Heidi leaned over and said that maybe we could go out after dinner and all the kids got settled down, I of course suggested karaoke. Heidi agreed that when we had gone there for Rhett's 30th and had a blast that we should go there again. I was thrilled!!!!!!
We got ready and headed off to do some singing :) When I walked in and saw the balloons and my parents and Heather sitting there I just about died. I was so shocked when I saw them I turned around to Heidi, Kevin, Shauna and Rhett with a look on my face like "oh my gosh we've just been busted by our parents". It was like I was a teenager again lol
